Ask a question:

Can I have sex whilst I'm pregnant?

Solution

As long as your pregnancy is proceeding normally, you can have sex as often as you like - but you may not always want to. You can keep having sex right up until your waters break. In a normal pregnancy, having sex is not linked with early miscarriage and there is no link between having sex and premature birth.

However, if you have a history of cervical weakness, a low-lying placenta or bleeding, check with a gp, or your doctor or midwife first, before you have sex.
